Providing dignified housing for pregnant moms and their children in the Springs
Mater Filius Colorado Springs is God’s call to our community to provide the first home in the Springs specifically to address the needs of pregnant moms.
As in our founding organization, our home hosts up to 10 moms and their children, with a chapel, playroom, and more!
Since we operate as a true ministry – not as a social services agency – we can keep our operating costs very low compared to similar homes nationwide.

Volunteer your time and talent
We are a volunteer-based nonprofit ministry that relies on God to call members of the community to support our work. While we primarily operate through volunteers, we also have paid positions for certain key roles.

Support Our In-House Boutique
We have an in-house Boutique, known as the Blu*Tique! (BLU for Building Lives Up)!
We currently need:
- New or gently used maternity clothes, for women ages 18-28, in all sizes – XS,S, M,L
- New nursing bras, in all sizes
- New or gently used regular womens clothing, in all sizes, especially pajama sets, leggings, sweat pants, short sleeve tee shirts, and long sleeve tee shirts
- New or gently used baby swings, boucy seats, high chairs, or strollers – we CANNOT accept used cribs or carseats
- New or gently used infant and childrens clothing and shoes, from newborn to age 5 years old.
